The Woodroffe School, working as part of the Jurassic Coast Teaching School Alliance, has been designated by the Department for Education as a National Lead School for Cultural Education. The Alliance will be working closely with The Real Ideas Organisation, who are acting on behalf of the Arts Council, to develop excellent CPD resources to support teachers to understand, engage with and deliver high quality cultural education to children and young people. The aim is to produce resources, events and examples of good practice to inspire, facilitate and encourage the development of a wide range of cultural activities in schools.
The Alliance will be working closely with other centres for Cultural Education and will use its Teaching School network to share good practice wherever possible. Click here to view the Cultural Education Working Partnership.
