The North Dorset Teaching School is launching two 6-part training webinars for teaching staff starting in January 2021. These webinars will be delivered as twilights or afternoon sessions, it should enable more people to attend and will have less impact on timetabling and backfill. See below:
TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR ASPIRING OR EXISTING MIDDLE LEADERS OF EDUCATION
This course of 6 webinars is led by the highly respected management coach and director of Studyflex, Rachel Lambert. This programme concentrates on relevant key topics you’ll need to succeed from how to achieve a high performing team to managing equality, diversity and inclusion. It’s packed with loads of practical tools to take you to the next level. New and Aspiring Middle Leaders Programme
This is a 3 day programme which forms part of the core offer to Alliance members. There is no charge for this programme. We expect to run this programme again next year.
Effective Middle Leadership
This programme is offered in partnership with WCTSA and Redstart Partnership and takes place at Uffculme School. The cost of this programme is £175. There is some funding available through the Women Into Leadership Programme.
Day One: 15th November 9:30am-3:30pm
Day Two: 15th January 4pm-6pm
Day Three: 14th February 4pm – 6pm
Day Four: 12th March 9:30am – 3:30pm
Getting Ready For Senior Leadership
This is a three day programme offered in collaboration with WCTSA and Redstart Partnership. The cost of this programme is £175. There is some funding available through the Women Into Leadership Programme. It takes place at Uffculme School. 9:30am -3:30pm
Day One: 22nd January 2019
Day Two: leadership shadowing between 22nd January and 26th April
Day Three: 26th April

JCTSA can arrange leadership shadowing days for Alliance teachers wishing to find out more about leadership at middle and senior levels. This is a bespoke service offered free to members. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
