Pedagogy Tier 3 Vocabulary and Frayer Models with Laura Conkerton
Tuesday 24th November 2020 from 15:45 to 16:45 This seminar led by Laura Conkerton, Head of Science at Twynham School will focus on looking at strategies that can be used in the classroom to support the explicit teaching of tier 3 vocabulary. The session will give you several takeaways that you will hopefully find useful when supporting your students. All of the strategies can easily be adapted for any subject and any key stage from reception through to KS5.
This is a £free event offered by TRI on a pro publico bono basis.

An Introduction to the Role of the Governor

Improving feedback but reducing workload in English
This consists of two half-day sessions held at Woodroffe School by Rebekah Mardall, English Consultant. It is free to Alliance members and there is a small charge of £30 to non-Alliance members. The first session will provide strategies for changing the way you mark and give feedback in order to reduce teacher workload but ensure good pupil progress. The second session builds on the first and includes some evaluation of strategies tried as a result of the first session.
