JCTSA works in partnership with the University of Exeter to offer outstanding teacher training and support for its School Direct trainees. JCTSA School Direct trainees sit alongside university-based trainees on the @Exeter PGCE programme.

JCTSA will accept applications up to Friday 25th June 2021.
Our partner schools tell us each year which subjects they would like trainees for. Generally, schools only offer one trainee place in those subjects they list. Primary places are different and there are several primary places to be filled, however, the location of the training can be anywhere within the Redstart Learning Partnership or the Acorn Academy Trust. All our places follow the fee-paying route. The list of secondary subjects and the schools offering a training place in that subject are listed below, click on the title for more information. Also listed is a link for Primary General. We try to keep this up-dated regularly but it is worth enquiring beforehand as to whether the vacancy is still open.
The Get Into Teaching website offers advice and support to candidates up to two years away from applying to teach in any subject. There are Teacher Training Advisors (TTAs) who provide one to one support to candidates and are available via the appropriate link below:
